“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
It is amazing to come to the realization that our God loves to take the weak things of this world and use them to display His strength. In our weakest state, there is no greater vessel for Him to do His work. While in the moments of weakness, our thoughts are susceptible to doubts and fears; our true relationship with God is just as secure and genuine as our brightest of days.
Our God will never leave us in our despair. He is still speaking. He is still present. His Spirit has not departed. His power has not diminished. This amazement is often understood through His “still small voice.” It may be found in the realization that we have been stripped of our securities in order for us to be led into a time of abiding with Him.
Take a few minutes to be quiet and listen for God’s still small voice giving you strength.
