COVID-19 UPDATE

Due to the global pandemic of Covid-19, we have pared down these teams significantly.  Full volunteer teams will resume once we again have corporate Worship Services in our building.

WHAT IS TECHNICAL ARTS?

Technical Arts is the backbone of our Worship Ministry. From rookies to pros, this team is filled with people of all ages, donating their time and talent to the Lord, and using their skills to help make the services excellent. Some areas have no experience required; we’ll train you!

VIDEO TEAM

The Video Team has five areas with serving opportunities in weekend Services.

  • Camera Operator
  • Camera Shader
  • Graphics Operator (song-slides and teaching slides)
  • Switcher
  • Video Director

No experience necessary. We will provide all training before you start serving.

BROADCAST AUDIO/SERMON VIDEO EDITOR  

  • Adjusts and monitors the broadcast feed for the live-streaming of our services.
  • Also responsible for editing the video of pastor’s teaching for Calvary’s website and DVD

We’ll train you, but experience is helpful.

AUDIO TEAM

Volunteers need pro-level experience as Monitor Board Engineer. See “Broadcast Audio” above for  for another audio opportunity.

LIGHTING TEAM

This team helps design and implement the lighting for the worship services and special events.

Experience is helpful.

STAGE MANAGER

The Stage Manager is backstage and responsible for organizing and controlling the flow of each stage element during the services. No experience necessary, we’ll train you.

STAGE CREW

Helps set-up and tear down the equipment on stage after Worship services, and for events. No experience necessary

SET DESIGN

Helps design sets and stage decor for worship services and for productions, such as Spotlight.

Some skills and experience in Set Design is required.
