Fresh Market at OutREACH Tuesdays

Join us for the Fresh Market Ministry where we provide fresh produce, meats, and other perishable goods during Calvary’s OutREACH Tuesdays! We partner with local vendors to distribute healthy food to those in need while fostering friendships that deepen our shared hope and faith in Christ. We will serve rain or shine!

Fresh Market is open to guests every Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 10:45 am

Ways to Get Involved:

Grocery Pickup: Help us collect fresh produce from local vendors and drop off at Calvary. (Some lifting required.)

Market Day Setup: Join us on Tuesdays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM to set up the market. Tasks include arranging groceries at various stations, engaging with guests, and offering prayers.

Together, we can make a difference in our community while sharing joy and support!

Food Pantry at OutREACH Tuesdays

Our Food Pantry is dedicated to providing non-perishable goods to individuals facing food insecurity. We’re here to lend a helping hand to those in need!

How to Donate:

We welcome your contributions! Simply gather your favorite non-perishable food items and drop them in the donation bin located by the main doors. Please ensure that items are not expired and avoid bulk or restaurant-sized packaging.

Needed donations include:

  • Canned Chicken
  • Soups
  • Ground Coffee
  • Canned Corn
  • Spaghetti Sauce
  • Mashed Potatoes
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Cereals
  • Cooking Oils
  • Small Bags of Baking Sugar (5 lbs.)
  • Small Bags of Flour (5 lbs.)

Please avoid donating bulk/oversized or expired items.

Join us on Tuesdays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the market. Tasks include sorting donations, arranging and distributing groceries at the Food Pantry station within the Fresh Market, connecting with guests through friendly visits and prayers, and assisting with pantry clean-up.

Angel Threads at outREACh Tuesdays

Our Angel Threads Boutique Ministry serves individuals by providing “like-new” clothing during our OutREACH Tuesday Events. There are opportunities to get involved through both the Sorts and the Boutique.

Angel threads sorts 

Angel Threads Sorts are the first and third Sunday of every month from 12:30pm – 3:00pm outside the Middle School Room. 

Sorts allow our Boutique to run smoothly and for people to shop for exactly what they need. We only provide the best for our boutique guests! Additional clothing is also sorted to head to one of the many other ministries or locations that we help to support.

Angel Threads Boutique

The Angel Threads Boutique is every Tuesday morning of the month from 8:30am – 10:30am.

OutREACH guests email for appointments and our team sets up a pop-up shop tailored to the specific needs of their family.  Prayer and encouragement are big parts of this ministry.

Blanket and Sewing Ministry

Our Blanket and Sewing Ministry works alongside our local and global partners to provide handmade blankets, quilts, and other items to those in need.  It’s fellowship with a purpose!

Come meet people who care about the welfare of others and who want to use their time and talents to bless others. Praying for our ministry partners and the individual recipients of our blankets is an important part of this ministry. 

Blanket Ministry meets the first Saturday of each month.
Our next Blanket Meeting will be on September 5, October 3, and November 7

 All Meetings are from 9am – 12pm in the Middle School Room

Foster & Beyond

Our Foster and Beyond Ministry seeks to call the body of Christ to action in the foster care crisis. We also seek to support families who are considering adoption. Many just feel led to surround families with their support and volunteer with our partners. We believe –  “Everyone Can Do Something!”

There are countless ways to get involved from supporting families who’ve stepped into foster care, mentoring foster youth, assisting with housing or transportation navigation, and maybe even becoming a foster or adoptive family.

Join us for a family-style BBQ celebrating foster, adoptive, kinship, and supportive caregivers—and everyone who plays a meaningful role in a child’s life. Saturday, September 26th, from 4-7pm in room 1700.

The REACH Group

Volunteer Opportunities

Our REACH GROUP is the entry point for getting involved in serving in our community. It exists to help individuals and our ministry partners through acts of kindness.

Service opportunities vary greatly.  We serve in response to natural disasters, the pandemic, and meeting the needs of our ministry partners and individuals in crisis. 

As needs arise, you’ll receive emails detailing the need.  You may choose to sign-up for projects that are of interest to you. 

When you join, you will also receive the Calvary Mission Newsletter.

Day 1: Pray That They Will Know Jesus

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3

Things to Remember

  1. Your greatest hope for your child is not simply that they are successful, safe, happy, or well behaved. It is that they know Jesus.
  2. You can teach them about God, bring them to church, and model faith for them, but only God can transform their heart.


Prayers to Pray

  1. Jesus, help them know You. Open their eyes to see who You are and draw them into a genuine relationship with You.
  2. Jesus, help them love You. May their faith become more than knowledge, tradition, or something inherited from our family.
  3. Jesus, help them follow You. Give them a lifelong desire to trust You, obey You, and walk with You.
