Past Campaigns

A look back at God’s faithfulness and your generosity through the years

A Legacy of Generosity

Over the past 20 years, Calvary has stepped out in faith through two major capital campaigns. Each one was fueled by prayer, sacrifice, and a deep desire to see more people know Jesus. The result? Lives changed, spaces transformed, and ministry expanded in ways that continue to bear fruit today. These campaigns stand as reminders that when God’s people give generously, He multiplies the impact far beyond what we could imagine.

Forward Campaign (2013)

Goal $5M
Gifts received $4.151M
Total spent $4.7M

In 2015, we opened our High School Room, providing a compelling and beautiful space for worship, teaching, and discipleship—creating a vibrant home for hundreds of students to grow in their faith.

A new Chiller System replaced our older, broken system, helping ensure year-round comfort and stewardship of our facilities, reducing costs and supporting future ministry gatherings.

We completed construction on the 5th floor of God Cares High School in Kampala, Uganda. This enabled Christian education for hundreds of students and opened doors for Gospel impact across generations in this nation.

Generations Campaign (2018)

Goal $14M*
Gifts received to date $8.3M
Total spent $9.4M
*Generations was paused in 2020 due to Covid

General funds have been used to further complete the Elementary space (1100 suite) for K-5th grade students.

In 2019, we opened our Middle School Room, which has become the central hub for middle school students at Calvary to encounter the resurrected Jesus, grow in their faith, make meaningful friendships, and reach their friends.

In 2021, we opened our Special Abilities Wing, which is a state of the art and welcoming facility that is fully equipped to welcome hundreds of families with children affected by disability.

In 2022, we took the first step toward remodeling our Elementary Facility, which serves as a safe, clean, compelling home for Kindergarten through Fifth-grade children at Calvary.

In 2021, we opened two upstairs nursery classrooms to serve the youngest children at Calvary in a secure, joyful place.

In 2020, shade sails were added to our back patio. This allowed us to host outdoor church services in that season and continues to provide space for events throughout the year.

What's next?

Day 1: Pray That They Will Know Jesus

Scripture to Read

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3

Things to Remember

  1. Your greatest hope for your child is not simply that they are successful, safe, happy, or well behaved. It is that they know Jesus.
  2. You can teach them about God, bring them to church, and model faith for them, but only God can transform their heart.

Prayers to Pray

  1. Jesus, help them know You. Open their eyes to see who You are and draw them into a genuine relationship with You.
  2. Jesus, help them love You. May their faith become more than knowledge, tradition, or something inherited from our family.
  3. Jesus, help them follow You. Give them a lifelong desire to trust You, obey You, and walk with You.
