I often think about the Holy Spirit and the idea of an “ever present hope in times of need.”  When I find myself drowning in worry, despair, anxiety, stress, or loneliness, I have found meditating on the truth of the gift of the Holy Spirit is the most incredible balm. I love imagining the Holy Spirit physically walking a journey with me through each and every step of my day. Comforting me. Molding me. Leading me. I am truly never alone because of the gift that has been given to me in the Holy Spirit.

Often, if I am honest, the concept of God and even Jesus can feel daunting or too vast or far-reaching. But the Spirit of God with me? That is something that draws me into a place of true and deep peace, unlike anything the world could ever offer.

Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Imagine His peace like a dove landing on your shoulder and walking through each moment with you.
