Due to Covid-19, MSM is creating and publishing weekend service videos.
You can find them posted here or on our youtube channel every saturday!

Every weekend, we hold worship services for our Middle School students on Saturday at 6pm or Sunday at 9am/11am.  Join us to connect with other students, play games, and worship God together through music and biblical teaching. Each weekend we have new students joining us for the first time, so you aren’t alone if you haven’t been to MSM before!  Find any of our leaders wearing an MSM T-shirt or badge to get connected.

COVID-19: We are currently not holding in-person weekend worship services at Calvary. However, we are posting weekend service videos every Saturday on our Calvary MSM YouTube channel.

Small Groups

During the school year (August-November, January-April), we hold our Middle School small groups called “Tribes”.  Join us on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30pm (Tribes starts at 6pm, but doors open at 5:30pm to play games, create art, and hang out before we get started). Students are placed into a small group with other middle schoolers of the same grade and gender.  Led by background checked adults who love Jesus, students and leaders open the Bible together to discuss how God’s word applies to their lives.

Registration opens each August for a new year of Tribes!

We believe that baptism is an important step in declaring our faith. Baptism is a way for you to publicly display your devotion to a life of following Jesus. Baptism celebrates us being dead to sin and alive in Christ.

Baptism is a similar symbol to a wedding ring.  If someone’s wedding ring falls off, that does not end their marriage! The ring is a symbol to the covenantal commitment two people have made to each other.  In the same way, baptism is a symbol of the commitment and celebration you have in following Christ.

We hold baptisms throughout the year in multiple environments including the Worship Center, the middle school room, and the beach. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, contact Connor Johnson at connor.johnson@calvarywestlake.org.

Summer Camp

Calvary MSM Summer Camp is the best week of the year for any incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.  We head to Angeles Crest Christian Camp for an adventure of seeking Jesus together.  Filled with outdoor summer activities, incredible worship, and rooted in biblical teaching, we strive for our students to not only grow in their relationship with God, but also in their friendship with one another.  We always say, if you only join Calvary MSM for one event, make sure it is summer camp!  Come along with us for an experience you’ll never forget!

COVID-19 UPDATE: Unfortunately, both the MSM Summer Camp and weekly Bonfires at the beach will not be taking place this summer.  This decision was not made lightly, and although it is incredibly sad for us as a staff (as well as for our leaders and students), we are still excited about what God can do in MSM this summer.
