ACTION VC

ACTION VC exists to share the love of Christ through acts of service.

Acting as a catalyst to help raise awareness of needs in our communities, ACTION VC serves a network of over 80 churches and dozens of participating agencies and schools to meet needs.

Through four primary programs: Love VC, Local Love Days, NOW Projects, and Community Christmas Shoppe, ACTION VC volunteers serve under-resourced families, seniors, veterans, and at-risk youth.

Community Pregnancy Clinic – Simi Valley

CPC – Simi exists to provide compassionate, no-cost, life-affirming pregnancy verification services and practical support. They strive to be the foremost trusted advocate through counseling, education and community service for the clients they serve. 

CPC – Simi also operates a licensed mobile ultrasound clinic offering pregnancy testing and ultrasound exams in areas where these services may be limited or unavailable to the public.

Fellowship of Christian athletes (FCA)

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives…one heart at a time. Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

FCA focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.

Forever Found

Forever Found‘s heart beats to prevent, rescue and restore children trapped in servitude and sexual slavery here in our community and around the world. 

Direct services include: a 24/7 REACH Response Team (Responding to Exploited Adolescents with Care & Hope), case management, trauma-informed care, survivor mentorship, and a variety of holistic therapies. Forever Found also offers a variety of training opportunities for individuals and organizations in our community, equipping them with a greater understanding of the problem of human trafficking and best practices for its prevention and the restoration of its victims.

Gabriel’s House

Gabriel’s House exists to end the cycle of homelessness by encouraging, equipping and empowering women and their children who are at risk of homelessness. 

Women who make Gabriel’s House their transitional home receive full case management services as they seek employment, learn to manage their finances, and connect with local resources to assist them in managing their lives.  

Life skills classes, spiritual mentoring and life coaching are also offered the women while their children attend child care services on site.

Harbor House

Harbor House is a social service agency dedicated to helping those who are most vulnerable. We serve the homeless, hungry and poor by mobilizing the power of the local community.  

Working with those that are in poverty means we are working with those who struggle with food and housing insecurity, unemployment, addiction, mental illness and abuse. 

These problems continue through generations in families and we are aiming to end this cycle.

James Storehouse

From cribs to college, James Storehouse encourages awareness and motivates community to supports children in foster care and those aging-out of foster care by providing resources that will ease transitions and improve living conditions. 

James Storehouse is committed to providing a helping hand to children and youth facing such daunting challenges as homelessness, incarceration, teen pregnancy and educational deficiencies due to the unimaginable rejection, neglect, abuse, and  abandonment.

Teen Challenge – SC

Teen Challenge of Southern California brings hope and healing to men and women trapped in drug and alcohol abuse as they come to Christ and realize their God-given potential. 

Our local Ventura/Tri-County Teen Challenge is a free 12-month residential discipleship ministry for women eighteen or older who wish to overcome their life-dominating struggle with drugs, alcohol and other life-controlling addictions.

URBAN PROMISE – LA

The mission of Urban Promise LA is to develop the children and youth of Los Angeles as they grow into Christian leaders determined to restore their Communities.

Urban Promise LA fulfills this mission by providing the support needed to help children of all ages succeed academically, grow spiritually, and develop into leaders. They offer after-school programs, summer camps and an amazing life-changing “Street Leader” program.

Ventura County Rescue Mission

The Ventura County Rescue Mission and Lighthouse for Women and Children serves the poor and homeless, offering hope to hurting people.  The Mission provides a full range of services to help the most vulnerable members of our community break free from poverty, homelessness, and addiction. 

VCRM and The Lighthouse provide food, shelter and clothing to those in need. For those desiring life-change, they offer Biblically based residential programs that minister to the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Programming includes:  intervention, substance abuse recovery, case management, education, life skills development, vocational training, employment, and transitional housing, ultimately leading individuals to lead healthy, independent lives as they follow Christ.
