Disaster Relief & Recovery

We believe that as Christ’s ambassadors, we are called to faithfully REACH into the unknown chaos of crisis; trusting God to lead us to comfort the hurting, love the forgotten, and bring hope when all seems lost. We do this by providing immediate relief and long-term recovery for those impacted by disaster.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

Opportunities

  1. Join the REACH Group to receive notifications and sign up for moving projects, landscaping projects
  2. Offer professional services to a survivor (architect, surveyor, painting, grading, advising on construction projects, provide plumbing, electrical and landscaping work at cost.) This is because we are almost entirely devoted to rebuilds from the fire. 
  3. Volunteer to provide administrative support for Fresh Market, Handyman,
  4. Prepare to respond in the event of another disaster event by serving on a preparedness committee.
