GOD IS FOR US

To read today: Romans 8:31-39

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:31

Those who are introverted or soft-spoken can sometimes feel like a salmon swimming upstream. At times, they may ask themselves, “is anyone listening?” I arrived in Nashville at 19 to start my songwriting career. Unbelievably, the day I flew into the airport, I found that the host family had forgotten to meet me. I had many incredible adventures during my stay in Nashville. Still, the highlights were the times when I was in the Word, praying, and in a bible study of intergenerational women. Those experiences equipped me to be in better tune with the Lord’s best path for me as I took one step of faith after another in my soft-spoken skin.

Have you ever had those moments of epiphany where the Holy Spirit is urging you to be bold in love and grace? Usually, it is an overwhelming impression to speak the truth in clarity that God has laid on your heart. In those situations, I believe the litmus test is experiencing a peace that transcends all understanding. God is for us, and He will fight those battles that align with His will and purpose. God is for you, and He is at your side. You are beautifully unique, and God will lead you through situations that may appear like a roadblock or resistance, according to His will.

Today, please remember that you are loved and treasured. God is for you and desires freedom by His Spirit in all the circumstances you face. Nothing formed against His will can prosper, so boldly love and serve Him today.
