EXTEND YOUR HANDS
Peter didn’t stop at words. He reached out his hand.
Serving sometimes requires action. Compassion moves beyond feeling sorry—it steps toward people.
There are people around us who are waiting for someone to help them take the next step. We can’t solve every problem, but we can offer a hand, walk alongside someone, pray with them, mentor them, or encourage them through a difficult season.
Often, God uses our hands to show His love.
Over the years, I’ve learned that extending a hand doesn’t always look extraordinary. Sometimes it means sitting beside a grieving friend, bringing a meal to a new foster family, helping a guest load groceries into their car, or mentoring someone who simply needs encouragement. These moments may seem small, but they’re often the very ways God reaches people through us.
Prayer: Lord, show me where You’re asking me not only to speak but also to serve.
