Calvary Kids on campus
Join us for calvary kids return to campus on sundays at 9am & 11am!
- Services will be held outside of the atrium on front patio and lawn. Check-in kiosks will be located inside the Atrium doors.
- We will have limited capacity at each service as we encourage kids to maintain social distancing. We ask that all children wear masks.
- Please self-screen before you arrive. Ensure that your child has not been around anyone who has been sick or had a cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever or chills or any other symptoms of COVID-19. We ask anyone showing symptoms of illness to stay home and continue to engage in our online experience.
- Our staff and volunteers will be wearing masks and are screened before each service. Thorough sanitizing will take place between services to maintain a clean environment.

We are asking families with 1ST-6TH GRADERS to be a part of our outdoor stages: one for the shepherds, one for the nativity, and one for the wise men. There will be no lines to memorize and costumes are to be assembled from what you have at home. The story will be read on a radio station that cars will tune in as they pass the stages.
- The event will take place 5-8pm over a period of three days: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 16-18.
- For more information and to sign up, please click HERE. The idea is to have a child participate as one character for one hour per evening!
- Parents, if you are willing to chaperone, our Spotlight team will need help to chaperone the children, keep them on stages and away from the cars.
Calvary has created an extra-curricular enrichment program forelementary students. The program allows families to elect two-day or four-day weekly options with daily programming to help boost what has been lost throughout this season.
Next unit will be
January 11 – February 5, 2021
Registration opens on December 14th!
Our weekend services are designed with children in mind! We offer our Calvary Kids services at both of our Sunday services:
Sunday: 9am and 11am :: located on patio outside of atrium
During the service, children will experience energetic and interactive worship, engage in games and activities with new friends, and have focused time with loving leaders who make sure every child knows they are important and loved by God. Your child will have a blast and learn about Jesus in a way that connects with them on their level!
Safety & Security
We value being a place where kids feel both emotionally and physically safe. That is why we have a check out system including claim tags for each child, and our volunteers go through a background check and specific training so that each child is safe and well cared for.
In the event that we need to reach you during the church service, we will use the cell phone number of the person you selected at check-in.
In the event of an emergency all of our staff, leaders and volunteers are trained in our emergency procedures. These procedures include working with the Calvary security team and being aware of the evacuation plans for our facility.
Volunteer with Calvary Kids
Volunteers make Calvary Kids come to life each week! There are so many ways you can help make kids feel loved and accepted here at Calvary Westlake. You might be a future small group leader, greeter, security team member, tech operator, or worship leader. We’d love to talk with you personally to help you find the right fit!

Calvary Kids Groups (CKG)
Calvary Kids Groups is still happening this year! It does look different since we are unable to meet in-person, but that won’t get in the way of memorizing Scripture altogether! We are excited to have a program that all ages will be on the same page learning a verse together.
Register HERE to ensure your family gets a booklet and supplies box!
If you have already registered and would still like a booklet and supply box, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Baptisms for Children
Each quarter, Children’s Ministries hosts a baptism class a few weeks before the next baptism service. Children in upper elementary grades, along with their parents, are invited to attend the class which teaches the fundamentals of the Christian faith and baptism as practiced here at Calvary Westlake. Once the child, parents, and leaders agree the child has a clear understanding of its meaning and is ready, they are invited to be baptized at the next baptism service.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Incoming TK through rising 5th graders are invited to spend a week of fun, friendship, and worship as we embrace a Gospel-filled theme that teaches how to live and love like Jesus.
VBS 2020 definitely looked different than we originally had planned, but we were still excited to bring VBS into your home!
Adventure Weeks is our summer day camp for children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade and runs in the summer months of June, July and August.
