Ministry for Early Childhood (Birth-TK)

Love God More

Love People More

Love More People

At Calvary Kids, we have spent much time putting a plan in place to make sure families feel comfortable returning. Our staff and volunteers will be wearing masks and are screened before serving. Temperature checks are given to all children at check-in and we encourage children 3 years and older to wear a mask. If you do not have one, we will have one available for you at check-in. In order to maintain a clean environment, thorough sanitizing will take place between services.

We offer our Calvary Kids services on Sundays at 9am and 11am. Check-in is located downstairs in the Early Childhood area.

Our weekend services are designed with children in mind! In Early Childhood, your child will be cared for in a safe, clean, age-appropriate environment by loving, screened adults. These adults will nurture your child and actively share God’s love with them.

  • Nursery children (birth-2 years) will be read stories, enjoy music, age-appropriate toys, and cared for in a loving and calm way
  • Preschool children (2 years-TK) will interact with children their age while dancing, worshiping, listening to Bible stories, doing crafts, and enjoying our outdoor classroom.

If you are unable to join us on Sunday mornings, we are still bringing our weekend Calvary Kids service to your home! Each Saturday, we post a new video that includes games, music and Bible stories. Join us each week by clicking the video to the left!

In children’s ministry, the safety and security of every child is extremely important to us. Each of our leaders and volunteers has been through an orientation process and has been screened to work with your child. Your child will be cared for and taught God’s Word in a safe, loving, and encouraging environment.

So that we have the most updated information on your child, we ask all families to update their profile in Calvary Connection. In the event that we need to reach you during the church service, we will use the cell phone number of the person you selected at check-in.

In the event of an emergency all of our staff, leaders and volunteers are trained in our emergency procedures. These procedures include working with the Calvary security team and being aware of the evacuation plans for our facility.

Volunteers make Calvary Kids come to life each week! There are so many ways you can help make kids feel loved and accepted here at Calvary Westlake. You might be a future classroom team leader, greeter, puppeteer or Calvary Kids Group leader. We’d love to talk with you personally to help you find the right fit!
