2. Things to Remember
- Jesus noticed people others overlooked. We want our children to grow into people who see beyond themselves to the hurting, the marginalized, and the broken of this world.
- Compassion begins when we learn to notice the needs, pain, loneliness, and struggles of others.
3. Prayers to Pray
- Jesus, give them Your eyes. Help them notice people who are hurting, lonely, excluded, or in need.
- Jesus, give them Your heart. Keep them tender toward the suffering of others.
- Jesus, move them to action. Teach them not only to feel compassion but to serve, give, include, and help.
