 On Saturday, October 24th from 5:30-8pm we will be hosting the Middle School Ministry (MSM) Costume Party on campus!

For the last few years, this has been the biggest event of the year in MSM where almost 300 students have joined us for a super fun silent disco costume party.  We will have plenty of games, candy, pizza, prizes, exciting surprises, and a costume contest! There are 3 categories for our costume contest: Best Overall, Best Group, and Best DIY.  Students are encouraged to bring a friend whether they believe in Jesus or not, and costumes are not mandatory.

Pre-registration is $8 online and will be open until October 23rd, but you can also register at the door for $10

The Halloween Party will be on Saturday, October 24th from 5:30-8pm. 

The Halloween Party will be at Calvary Community Church in the middle school ministry (MSM) room.  We will have 20+ adult leaders with students at all times, as well as Calvary’s safety and security team.  Our address is 5495 Via Rocas, Westlake CA 91362.

Yes, If you do come as a walk up please bring $10 cash.

The cost is $8 for online registration, and $10 at the door.  If you cannot pay this amount, email Stephanie Terblanche and we can get you a scholarship.  The scholarship deadline is Thursday, October 15th. Online registration will close October 23rd.

ALL students are welcome regardless of faith, church attendance, gender, race, sexuality, or anything else!  The only requirement of students who attend is that they are in 6th, 7th , or 8th grade!

We ask that costumes to not be scary or gory, and we ask that students do not bring any weapons (lightsabers are ok).  Obviously, this is a “gray area”, so use your best judgement and ask the question “Would any young child be scared by this costume?”  If the answer is yes, then it would not be appropriate to wear!

Things to Remember

  1. Your greatest hope for your child is not simply that they are successful, safe, happy, or well behaved. It is that they know Jesus.
  2. You can teach them about God, bring them to church, and model faith for them, but only God can transform their heart.


Prayers to Pray

  1. Jesus, help them know You. Open their eyes to see who You are and draw them into a genuine relationship with You.
  2. Jesus, help them love You. May their faith become more than knowledge, tradition, or something inherited from our family.
  3. Jesus, help them follow You. Give them a lifelong desire to trust You, obey You, and walk with You.
