what is the calvary christmas offering all about?

Every year in November and December we challenge our church to be all in with our annual Christmas offering. God has given Calvary an extraordinary vision to build His Kingdom throughout the Conejo Valley and beyond for generations to come. He wants to use all if us to accomplish this.

Our goal for this year’s Christmas offering is $2.6 million. This offer will:

  • Fuel over one fifth of our annual funding for all children, students, and adults ministries
  • Provide full year support to all of our global partnered families
  • Kick-start phase 3 of our Generations Master Plan

God is challenging us to trust Him and be faithful!

what are the numbers for the christmas offering?

Total Goal
of the funds needed to fuel ongoing ministry for the full fiscal year is provided by this year’s offering
provides support to global partner individuals/families for the year
kickstarts the restart of the generations by funding the build out of the new early childhood infant suite

what will the christmas offering do?

Fueling Ministry

Christ’s love and the hope of the gospel are the centerpiece of everything we do at Calvary. Your generosity through this Christmas offering fuels much of what our church does for the Kingdom each year. The ministries below are a few examples.

children and students

Every year Calvary reaches thousands of children and students through various ways. What God allows us to do is truly amazing! Over 600 children at Vacation Bible School this year with over 20 first-time decisions for Christ. There were over 140 students at Middle School Summer Camp this year with over 101 first-time decisions for Christ. There were over 230 students at High School Summer Camp this year with over 10 first-time decisions for Christ. There were thousands of local High School students attending Friday Night Lights- a safe and secure atmosphere for students to interact and have contact with our High School Ministry- many for the first time.

Each week scores of children gather to worship and be challenged to live and love like Jesus on our campus.

Special Abilities

God has given Calvary a wonderful passion for serving families that are affected by disability. This year hundreds of families were loved on and given hope through this amazing ministry. Our weekend ministry focuses on discipling these precious children. While also providing an opportunity for parents to worship as their children are in safe and secure environment with caring staff and volunteers. Respite care is provided to even more families each month through our monthly “Buddy Break” Ministry.

Local Outreach

We have the privilege of ministering to thousands of folks in our community that need help, including people who receive fresh food as well as non-perishable food and other essentials through our “Fresh Market” and “Food Pantry” each week. Many receive needed clothing and other assistance through our Care Ministry and other ministries each year. All of this is done in the name of Jesus.

Reaching the World

Calvary partners with 17 organizations and 31 individuals/families, both in our communities and around the world. These ministries are focused on Gospel work in the following ways: Restoring the Broken, Empowering the Church, Advancing the Kingdom, Caring for Children, and Helping in Crisis (R.E.A.C.H.). Our Church has given away over $14 million for REACHing the World over the last 10 years!

Our Christmas offering will provide the support for our individual partners for the full year!

Restarting “Generations”

In the spring of 2018, Calvary launched our Generations Master Plan for our campus. This is Calvary leadership’s vision to enhance God’s gift of our amazing campus. The emphasis of Generations is to Capture the Space, Transform the Campus, and Extend the Blessing. This is a multi-year phase plan that was paused on January of 2021. Your support for this year’s Christmas offering is key to the restart of Generations.
