What is Camp 54?
Camp 54 is an overnight camp experience created just for our current 4th and 5th graders! It’s a chance for kids to get away, have a ton of fun with friends, grow in their faith, and experience overnight camp before participating in the longer camps offered through our Middle School and High School Ministries.
From worship and time in God’s Word to games, small groups, and plenty of camp fun, Camp 54 is packed with opportunities for kids to connect and make memories! Along the way, they’ll strengthen friendships, spend time with their Calvary Kids leaders, and grow in their relationship with God.
Our hope is that kids come home from Camp 54 with great memories, stronger friendships, and a deeper connection with God—and excitement for all that’s ahead in Calvary Student Ministries!

SATURDAY DROP-OFF
The Camp 54 experience begins Saturday morning! Parents will drop off their child at Forest Home Ojai Valley on Saturday, October 17.
Check-In: 11:00 AM
When you arrive, please stop by the check-in table first. After checking in, families will head to their child’s cabin, where parents will have an opportunity to meet their child’s cabin leaders, help their child drop off their belongings, and get them settled before saying goodbye and letting the Camp 54 weekend begin!
SUNDAY FAMILY CHAPEL & Departure
Parents and siblings are invited to join us Sunday morning for our final Family Chapel at the Sequoia Amphitheater! This is a special opportunity for families to get a glimpse of what their child experienced at Camp 54 and worship together as we wrap up an amazing time at camp.
Family Arrival: 9:45–10:00 AM
Family Chapel: 10:00–11:00 AM
Location: Sequoia Amphitheater
Families will depart Forest Home with their children immediately following chapel at 11:00 AM.
SAFETY AT CAMP
The safety of every child is a top priority for Calvary Kids. Camp 54 leaders complete Calvary’s volunteer screening and training requirements, including references, fingerprinting, and background checks. Camp counselors also receive additional training specific to camp and our safety procedures.
Medical support will be available throughout Camp 54. Detailed information regarding medications, packing, and other important camp procedures will be provided to registered families prior to camp.
WHAT TO BRING
A complete packing list and additional information to help your child prepare for Camp 54 will be sent to registered families before camp.
Help your child unplug for the weekend by leaving all technology at home! Camp 54 is designed to give kids a distraction-free opportunity to have fun, build friendships, connect with their leaders, and spend time with God.
