Thanksgiving Service: We invite you to gather with us for Calvary’s annual Thanksgiving Service THIS Sunday, November 19th at 6:00pm. This is a special service where we come together to give thanks for all God’s done in and through our lives.
Community Christmas Shoppe Toy Drive, October 28-December 2: Community Christmas Shoppe, sponsored by ActionVC, brings together close to 40 churches to provide free toys and the message of Jesus to 1000+ families across Ventura County. Qualified low-income families are invited to “shop” for free gifts. While parents choose gifts, children’s activities are provided. We anticipate a great need this Christmas so we need YOUR help!
Calvary is hosting the Special Abilities Christmas Shoppe on Saturday, December 2nd, for local families who have children with special abilities. Bring NEW, UNWRAPPED toys, stuffed animals, books, bikes, electronics, etc. for babies, toddlers, children & teens

Star of Wonder – Sunday, December 10th, 6:00-9:00pm (*5:00-6:00pm: Special Abilities families only): Star of Wonder is Calvary’s Christmas festival. Experience the thrill of snow sledding, inflatables, s’mores around the fire, and the Shepherd’s Petting Zoo. Coffee, hot cocoa, and food trucks will be on site. This event is Calvary’s gift to the community so invite your friends, family, and neighbors for a fun evening on our campus.
Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along: On Friday, December 15th at 7:30pm, join us for our annual traditional Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along and your favorite Christmas carols. The evening of music will include an orchestra conducted by Pepperdine’s Dr. Ryan Board. Music will be provided for you to sing along or just enjoy listening to one of the most celebrated musical works of all time. Men’s Connect – A Bible Study for Men: Join us for a study through the book of Matthew on Saturdays at 7:30am in room 2104. Every week, we’ll come together for worship, teaching, and engaging table group discussions. The only material you’ll need is your Bible or Bible app. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other men and grow together in God’s Word. We look forward to seeing you there!
The Connection, for women of all ages: Each week, we have a time of teaching and connecting with other women. There is no homework, and the only material you need is a Bible. Current study, “The 23rd Psalm”. Come on Thursdays at 10:00am in room 1108.
YA (Young Adults, ages 18-30) Thursday Night Worship Service: Join us in-person on Thursdays at 7:00pm in the high school room 1500 as well as streaming on YouTube. (All ages are welcome to watch online.)
Westlake Worship was born out of the Young Adults ministry at Calvary Community Church. YA’s worship team saw and recognized that there were many in the community who had both the gift of creating and the hunger for a deeper level of worship. These songs are written from their own testimonies of how God has moved, we pray they bless others and lead people into His presence.
Seasoned Adults
Salt Company is a gathering place for Seasoned Adults to refresh, retool, and refuel as they navigate the ever-changing terrain along route 60+. They meet on the 2nd & 4th Sundays at 9:00am in the Café. Come for intentional conversation, spiritual formation, service, and intergenerational friendship. For more info, email Pastor Dick Thompson.

Living Room, Calvary’s Russian-speaking ministry, gathers for worship, a devotion, and intentional relational time, on Saturdays at 6:00pm in room 1500 (HSM room). All Russian speakers are welcome, including families with children. If you have friends or co-workers who speak Russian, please let them know this is open to them, too.
Calvary is Going Global! THIS Sunday, November 19th at 12:30pm in room 2101, join us for our Go Global gathering! This event is an opportunity to hear about how Calvary is engaging all over the world and how you can get involved. If you have been curious about what Calvary is doing in the world, this is your chance to get acquainted and take the next step in joining in. We look forward to seeing you there!
Christmas Shoeboxes: Pack a shoebox with gifts for children in Mexico. Pick up a box and instructions at the Missions Counter in the lobby this weekend and return your box by December 10th.
Deliver Shoeboxes December 14-16: Join the team going to Mexico to drop off the boxes. This is always a heartfelt and heartwarming time together with our friends and mission partners in Ensenada. Cost: $150 ($85 for youth under 18 AND accompanied by an adult). Note: anyone over 16 MUST have a valid passport. For more info or to sign up click the button below.

*NEW* Finding Hope is a support group for people who have loved ones battling heroin, fentanyl, and other drug addictions. Finding Hope provides a space to process the bleak and sometimes traumatic realities brought on by addiction. Learn how to set proper boundaries, fight codependency, develop healthy habits, and much more. A new class starts in early 2024.

Early Childhood (birth-4 years old) & Elementary Classes meet in-person during the 9:00am and 11:00am services on Sundays.
Child Dedication is a public expression of the fact that a child belongs to God. It is not for the salvation of a child but a public declaration by you, the parents, to raise your child in the way, truth, and life that is found in Jesus Christ. In the midst of this Christian community, you dedicate your child to God, seeking to teach them and model for them a life living and loving like Jesus. FX (Family Experience) Live is a once-a-month live event where parents join with their kids (age 3 years old through 5th graders) for music, laughter, and fun as we learn about the character of God. Meets next on Wednesday, December 6th from 5:30pm-7:15pm at Calvary.
The Preschool at Calvary Westlake: As a ministry of Calvary, the preschool is an outreach to the community through which we provide a safe, loving, and enriching atmosphere where young children learn and grow in a school setting. We offer half and full-day programs (2 Year Olds, Preschool, Pre-K/TK) to any child ages 2 to 5 years.

MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY
MSM Worship Services: Join us to connect with other students, play games, and worship God together through music and biblical teaching. Click below for more info.

MSM Small Groups: “Tribes” meet Wednesdays from 5:30-7:15pm. Each week, students hang with friends as they open their Bibles together, exploring how God’s Word changes the way they live! All groups are lead by MSM staff and vetted (background checked & fingerprinted) volunteers. Groups are single-gender and grade-based.
Christmas EXTREME is Wednesday, December 6th from 6-8pm: We will be eating dinner together, giving away tons of prizes, playing crazy games, and having a ton of fun! Most students dress up in their craziest Christmas attire, so wear some red and green as we celebrate the gift of Jesus this Christmas with all our MSM students! $5. Christmas Movie Night, Wednesday, December 13th from 6-8pm: This is another opportunity for students to spend time with each other at Calvary building the MSM community. No cost. There will not be dinner on this night but we will have candy and hot cocoa.
MSM Winter Camp – February 16-19, 2024: Every winter we have the opportunity to take students up to Hume Lake for winter camp, where we partake in a weekend of worship, recreation, and biblical teaching. Winter camp is a perfect place to get away from normal life for a weekend, enjoy the beautiful campus of Hume Lake, and even see snow if you’re lucky!
HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY
HSM Worship Services: Come hang out with friends, hear a message from the Bible, and worship with our outstanding band!

HSM Small Groups are where we teach high school students how to follow Jesus step-by-step. We do this by gathering on Tuesday or Wednesday nights in homes all over the Conejo Valley in gender-specific groups of 5-15 students. Group time involves studying the Bible, sharing about your life, and being challenged to take steps forward in your faith! SIGN UP HERE
HSM Christmas Lock-In: Every December, High School Ministry kicks off the season with the wildest night of the year! The Lock-In is an all-night Christmas Party with crazy games, delicious food, and a whole lot of coffee! December 8-9 from 9:00pm–6:00am. $20 online OR $25 at the door.
